I thought I'd upload some old drawings. Off to Tuscany tomorrow!

Camping photos
I am back! I camped at the wild-camping area next to the Kingshouse Hotel. Here's a few pictures I took. As you can see the weather was pretty dour - it was still quite warm though. Although on the downside this meant the midges were still about, arrrgh!

Now I like curry as much as the next man but even I was surprised to find a large vat of curry paste in the middle of nowhere:

Going camping...
Today I'm going camping, probably for the last time this year (I expect it will be too cold and dark when I get back from my trip to Italy.) I may attempt a painting. This is the last 'plein air' painting I tried:
The weather was pretty terrible that day, it started to rain not long after I began and the paint ran everywhere before I decided it was a lost cause. I worked on it quite a lot when I got home so it's basically unrecognisable from its nascent state on that cold and wet day in Ardnamurchan! I like to think of it as an 'authentic' landscape though - it has sand and rain and seawater all mixed in with the paint!
A Puddock
I've been messing about for ages with the layout of my blog. I guess it's fine for now. Time for a drawing! Here's an old one that seems apt. Without further ado, the humble puddock:
